I love texture, and this is a piece that for some reason appeals to me. I am primarily known for bright colors, etc. . . . so this is a bit out of character. I get bored easily, so must continue to experiment and play.

What a wonderful winter leafless vine! I think it is a great painting as it is! I know what you mean about "playing," Wayne. I try about every new thing I see and mix it with everthing else! Most of these, as you might guess, never see the light of day, letterally because I do a major amount of my painting at night, but sometimes I come up with something I can "fix up" later or with an idea to try out for a "serious" painting, or "postable," or whatever I'd like anybody else to see who is located far enough away not to hit me!
