Description
This image is one in a series of "stacked" village scenes. This series satisfies my desire to be working with color and texture vs. subject matter, as I see this series as primarily geometric abstracts. In that the area of Virginia that I live in is NOT a hotbed for abstract sales, the addition of roofs, windows, doors, etc. give the image a whimsical subject to satisfy those who need to know "what it is"! There are many more in this series that can be found on my web page, and I would be more than pleased to move any of them to this site in order to be translated into giclee prints.

I How darling, leaning with all those red-related hues! And what nice perspective as they go over the hill. Now I have read your good-natured note and really understand what you so successfully are doing (and why!). One of these days when I am healthier I am eager to get down and see you and the gallery and check-out your monthly contests, etc. I can't drive, so I have to depend on my wife, having few friends who will put up with me, etc.
