This is an altered photograph taken along the shoreline at Ocracoke Island in January during a wonderful one week vacation. If you have never visited Ocracoke, you should put it on your agenda. We go for the peace and quiet in the off season. The graphic quality of this image is pleasing to me, and I hope it is to you as well.
I have been a producing artist for over 30 years, starting out as a potter/sculptor back in my native Michigan. I now paint, work with mixed media, and a bit of photography. . .and now and then, a little clay! I have become known primarily for my work in a dimensional, recycled mixed media w/acrylic, and all of my originals are also available as prints and as cards.
